Can you believe it is already late June!

We are almost half-way through the year and entering into that cosy time where those lucky ones light their fires, and the rest of us snuggle up to our oil heaters and drink copious amount of tea and hot chocolate. As we start our hibernation to escape the cold weather don’t forget to make sure your pets are all rugged up as well, especially those living outside in their kennels. Treat your fur baby to a new warn new blanket or coat to keep them all toasty warm this winter!

Crazy Critters

Check out Live Science for more info about this amazing new species of Domed Land Snail found in a cave system in Croatia.

The snail lacks pigmentation and has NO EYES, thanks to its pitch black cave habitat. This tiny specimen moves only a few centimetres every week usually in a circle as they graze.
