Meet our friendly healthcare team…….

Dr Graeme Cross

Hi, I am the owner and leader of Gosford Vet Hospital.
In many ways I have the easiest job as our team listed below are like family and make this the best practice I have ever worked in.

I  started the practice 8 years ago in an empty building and it has grown quickly to the size it is today.

We are committed to be continually improving and have been updating the clinic appearance to match the very modern equipment we have inside.

However, none of this is as important as the warm people we have working with me and we are lucky to welcome new members to our team as we grow. This year we welcome  Kim and Paris.

I would also like to congratulate Sam , Dani and Robert who are fully qualified vet nurses now after graduating from  their courses with distinction.

We also congratulate Sami and Kath who are now fully qualified mum’s after the arrival of their beautiful boys. We have already started their veterinary studies………….. :-)   only joking.

I have my own family and I am blessed with my new partner Chris. Between  us we have 5 wonderful children aged from 3 to 10.

We do sometimes come to work to have a rest but love the life that has been given to us.

I hope you enjoy our website and like our practice it is  only going to improve and prosper in the future.

Dr Greg Coates

“Hi my name is Greg Coates; I graduated Veterinary Science with Honours in 1988 and have worked in small animal practice since then. I commenced working at Gosford Veterinary Hospital in 2004 and at
work I have particular interest in soft tissue surgery and medicine and when I’m not working my interests are in photography.”

Dr Lynda Shaw

“Hi my name is Lynda Shaw; I graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with Honours in 2006, following graduation from a science degree several years previous. I have a special interest in internal medicine. I joined the Gosford team in 2010 and have been enjoying getting to know all the clients and patients over the past 18 months, as well as working with a great team of passionate, talented and friendly staff. My current pet population is one. Lucy is a 16 year old Birman who still enjoys stealing my chair or a space on the bed whenever given half a chance.”

Dr James Hall

“Hi my name is James Hall; I graduated from Sydney University with Honours in 2003. I have grown up on the Central Coast and worked at Gosford Veterinary Hospital since 2007. I am currently studying Medicine at Sydney University but enjoy working weekends as a Veterinarian. I have 2 daughters and a kitten named Delphi.”

Jenny Cunnington

“Hi my name is Jenny; I am the Practice Manager of Gosford Veterinary Hospital. I have been working here since late 2004 and during this time I have completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and a Certificate IV in Practice Management.
I really enjoy all the different aspects of my job from nursing duties to the business development; I also love working every day as part of a dedicated and caring team. I’m the proud mum of two animals – “Indi” is a lovable Rottweiler who thinks she is little dog and wants to sit on your lap & get cuddles all day! As well as “Buddha” is a naughty Burmese who gets up to mischief all day & is the boss of the household!”

Emily Broome

“My name is Emily and I am a Veterinary Nurse and Assistant Practice Manager here at Gosford Veterinary Hospital. I have been part of the team since May 2006. I love the diversity of my work and nothing makes me happier then sending home a patient healthy and well after a stay with us. I am the doting owner of a rambunctious cattle x kelpie named Sasha who is eight years old but still a pup at heart.

Samantha Hinton

Kim Jones

“Hi I’m Kim and have been working in the animal industry for over 25 years. I have been at Gosford Veterinary Hospital since May 2011 and really enjoy working with such a dedicated, caring team. One of my passions is animal behaviour and in 2001 I completed my CGC Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour/Training. I presently own a demanding but beautiful cat called Scrap and two rats named Olive & Stuart.”

Robert Meulman

“Hi I’m Robert, I have a certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and I’ve worked at Gosford Veterinary Hospital since early 2010. My favourite part of my job is assisting in surgery. I have two dogs named Sandy & Patch they mean the world to me.”

Paris Tootell

“I’m currently doing my certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE with the hope one day that I will pursue my dreams in becoming a Veterinarian. For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to work with and along side animals. I am very lucky to have found a workplace that shares the same passion for animals as I do. I love going to the country with my English cocker spaniel Sage and that’s where I found my cat, Bell. I am also in the process of completing my application to become a wildlife carer.”
